Chef Jeff Bannon’s Tailgate Wings


  • 5 lbs. chicken wings
  • 12 oz. jar apricot preserves
  • 1 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 gloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp. fresh minced ginger, or 1 tsp ginger powder


  1. Clean and pat dry disjointed wings
  2. Place in gallon baggie and add remaining ingredients. Squeeze excess air out of baggie, seal.
  3. Refrigerate overnight.
  4. Preheat grill (medium), discard marinade.
  5. Grill wings 25 minutes turning once until skin ins crispy.
